1- This resource is aimed at students doing the AQA GCSE Child Development Coursework, for exams June 2010.

2- Whist many students can cope on their own with the requirements of the coursework, some, despite initially understanding orally given instructions, lack the confidence of putting pen to paper.

3- This diagrammatic resource was devised to guide students on the requirements of the Child Development Coursework and to ease the learning of child development concepts, both contributing towards students working on their own and raising standards.

4- It can be used by students of all abilities it is particularly useful for middle to lower ability.

5- The development sections, (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Social), cover most aspects of the early stages of human development.

Ideally they should be read and discussed with the students as a classroom exercise and further annotations can be added by the students.

6- An ideal resource for students who missed ‘coursework instructions’ and/or are able to work on their own.

7- Resource is a CD-ROM with a PowerPoint. presentation.
